The list of comfort foods from around the world is more familiar then you think. Comfort food is a fundamental human need. As we compiled ideas for this dinner our chef came up with foods from around the world that conjure up great memories and offer comfort in those thoughts. For instance, Poutine from Canada, everyone in Canada knows poutine. Pierogies are Polish, our Executive Chef John McNabb was raised making pierogies that remind Poles of family gatherings and remindful of childhood flavors. From Spain come tortillas and, Chilaquiles from Mexico. This dinner is for those that love classic comfort food. This is a five-course meal paired with premium wines from Knapp Winery, Zugibe Vineyards, Glenora Wine Cellars and other local Finger Lakes wine.
