Bacchus & Books is currently offering our next WSET Level 1 Course on Monday, December 9th from 10am to 5pm at The South Carolina Historical Society at 100 Meeting Street in downtown Charleston.
WSET Level 1 is a one day introductory-level course that requires no prior wine knowledge. It is ideal for non-professionals who are just starting to learn about wine and wish to build a solid foundation. The course is also an excellent fit for professionals who are new to the wine and hospitality industry and are seeking a qualification that will help you stand out from your peers.
In this course, you will explore the main types and styles of wine through sight, smell, and taste, while utilizing the WSET’s Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine. This allows students to master a specific framework to analyze wines accurately and create food and wine pairings.
Most importantly, this course is a lot of fun and perfect for friends, business colleagues, or visitors to Charleston who are looking for a unique experience.
