We’re quickly approaching our 10th annual beer tasting fundraiser hosted by the Varnum Continentals at the Varnum Memorial Armory Museum. Yes, it will be 10 Years!!
A New Name for our Landmark Fundraiser:
After careful consideration and feedback from stakeholders including the Varnum Continentals Executive Committee, Board of Trustees, as well as volunteers, attendees, and brewers, we decided to update the event name from “Guns and Beer” to:
“LIFE. LIBERTY. BEER.” 10th Annual Beer Tasting Fundraiser
This change better reflects our mission to “encourage patriotism through the Varnum Armory Museum, the Continental Militia, and the James Mitchell Varnum House and thus to preserve, support, and communicate the history of our community, our state, and our nation.”. Meaning, we are not solely focused on guns or weapons, and we now have an event name that reflects our broader mission, and not one small part of it.
Each year our event grows exponentially with more craft brewers and vendors as well as more attendees!
