We Americans have grown accustomed to thinking of wines as Merlot or Cabernet or Chardonnay etc. In other words, we think of the variety of wine-grape we like then order accordingly.
Not so our European brothers and sisters. They think of region first and may not even think about grape variety. Many of the traditional wine regions in Europe blend varietals.
We are catching on in the new world and are seeing more blends produced here in the USA.
We will taste five red blends today.
Price is $20. Please call or see the front desk to place reservations. 802 253-5742. Doors open @ 4:00. I suggest you arrive no later than 5:00 to avoid feeling rushed. People come and go during the tasting which is an informal walk around format. We end at 6:00
