Who: Les Dames d’Escoffier International’s Atlanta Chapter hosts the 19th annual fundraising event Afternoon in the Country (AITC).

What: Afternoon in the Country is a cultured afternoon of food and wine curated by some of Georgia’s most well-known chefs, restaurants, farmers and sommeliers.  The event includes music, an auction and tasting samples.

When: Sunday, November 3 from 1-4 p.m. 

VIP access opens at noon

Where: The grounds of Foxhall Resort

Free parking 

Why: All proceeds from Afternoon in the Country benefit educational scholarships, continuing education and organization grants to support women in the culinary industry, Georgia’s farming community and food-related nonprofits.

How: Tickets: VIP ($250) includes Early admission(12:00 p.m.); valet parking; Georgia Grown VIP tent, gift tote and the Foxhall Resort After Party at Legacy Lookout; General Admission ($125) includes access to festival including, food and beverage tastings, live music and auction
