Monday Night Free Wine Tasting Event - House of Wine will be offering two free wine tastes as well as offering a third at the reduced price of $1. This is a fun event with a lot of opportunity to speak with the staff about these wines as well as any other wine. This week’s offerings feature wines from a cross section of France. The two free wine tastes will be Chateau de Sancerre and Crocus Malbec. The $1 taste will be Marcel Dubois Vouvray. Sancerre is the gold standard of Sauvignon blanc and has wonderful minerality. Crocus is from Cahors, the terroir that made Malbec a staple varietal and an intriguing contrast to Argentine Malbec. Lastly, the Vouvray is the French expression of Chenin Blanc which has the potential to be your new favorite wine.
