It’s hard to argue that Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon Special Selection or high-end red and white Burgundies are “Summer Wines,” but we still think you’ll enjoy trying them during this weekend’s free tastings Friday from 3-7pm and Saturday from noon-4pm.  And if you’re looking for something a little more thirst-quenching, then Henri Bourgeois Sancerre in white and pink should do the trick!  Here’s the full line-up:

Henri Bourgeois Sancerre Rose La Porte du Caillou 2018 - Our most popular Sancerre Rosé year-after-year is simply superb – perhaps best-ever – in Sancerre’s great 2018 vintage.  So the great $19.98 bottle and $17.98/ea case price is even more delightful!

Henri Bourgeois Sancerre Les Baronnes 2018 - Even better than the Wine Spectator 92 point and Top 100 2017 edition, this is at once lively and rich with mouthwatering cut and plenty of minerality. A fabulous all-purpose Sancerre.

Clos de la Chapelle Beaune 1er Reversees 2017 - Mark O'Connell is making terrific wines at his tiny estate, and this bottling showcases his touch with white wines in the lovely 2017 vintage. Wonderfully pure and fresh with just-right levels of fruit and minerality. A gem!

Clos de la Chapelle Beaune 1er Cru Champs Pimont 2017 - Everything you'd hope for in 1er Cru red Burgundy including lovely fruit, sweet spice, and a nice dose of savory earth. This finishes long and lovely and, while it will be better from 2022, it's pretty darn compelling now.

Clos de la Chapelle Grand Cru Corton Bressandes 2015 - Open only on Saturday and only one bottle being poured.  A bold, rich, Wine Spectator 94 point, Grand Cru at a fraction of the price you'd expect.

Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Special Selection 2015 - As Wine Spectator says in their glowing 95 point review, the 2015 edition of this Napa classic is a "hedonist's delight."

Note that we'll open just one bottle of Caymus Special Selection each day, so come early to be sure to get a taste!  As always, we'll have some treats from the cheese case out to enjoy with the wines and best prices available on a mix/match basis during the tasting.  Join us!
