On Friday, May 24, Provision Coffee Bar rolls out its new tiki menu just in time for refreshing seasonal sipping. From tropical teas to jungle-inspired cocktails and a new island-style nosh, Provision unveils the following vacation-mode bites and beverages:
Tahitian Latte — with espresso, coconut almond cream, milk, vanilla, orange bitters, an orange twirl and nutmeg garnish, $5/$6
Coconut Chemex (serves 2-3) — featuring sparkling white tea, coconut water, blackberry honey compote, pineapple allspice shrub, lime, and mint and served with a pineapple island garnish and in a glass Chemex , $15
Paradise Punch — sparkling white tea with a blend of freshly hand-squeezed orange, grapefruit, lime, pineapple and guava juices, simple syrup and coconut almond cream. Garnished with sparkling blueberry hibiscus, cinnamon and a tiki umbrella, $7
Black and Blue Hawaiian — nitro cold brew coffee, coconut almond cream infused with butterfly pea, orgeat, marasca syrup, and Orleans barrel-aged bitters, then garnished with maraschino cherry and a butterfly pea flower, $7
Rite of Passage — a tiki-style version of an old fashioned, featuring subtle pineapple notes, this cocktail is made with Plantation Stiggins Pineapple Rum, Heirloom Pineapple Amaro, simple syrup, and Polynesian Kiss bitters, and garnished with maraschino cherry and candied pineapple, $13
Golden Bird — a variation of the jungle bird cocktail featuring Brown butter Don Q Barrel Spiced Rum, St. George Bruto Americano, simple syrup, lime, pineapple, Angostura and Peychaud’s Barrel Aged Bitters and an orange twist garnish, $14
Nosh on:
Musubi — teriyaki Spam, sushi rice, wasabi furikake, Hawaiian seasoning and rice vinegar wrapped in nori and serve with a side of fresh pineapple, $8
During the week of the new menu launch, Provision is offering a special version of the Coconut Chemex, the Coconut Chemex Volcano which bubbles and erupts in a cascading fog of topical aromatics that is a treat for all the senses. The menu is available during restaurant hours all summer long.
