Pinot Noir’s native homeland may be the French region of Burgundy, but in recent decades, it found a happy home in Oregon, where Oregonian Pinots are starting to give Burgundies, specifically those from the Cote d’Or, a run for their money. But it’s not about competition between the two regions. In fact, there’s an active exchange of international interns and winemakers between the two countries, allowing a wonderful exchange of ideas. Join us as we taste Pinots from the two regions, and decide which styles and approaches speak to your taste buds best.
