Local Event Premier Host
Cost: $200 for 3 classes
Camp is not just for the children any more! This summer, the Main Line's premier consumer-focused wine school, the What Am I Drinking?! wine education studio in Bryn Mawr, will offer it’s first ever WAID Camp: a two-part, six-class wine-education series geared especially for novice and intermediate wine consumers.
This immersion wine camp is all about learning and experiencing the New World and Old World wine regions – including the grape varieties, growing conditions, and wine’s role in the culture. Campers will taste a number of highly regarded wines from prime wine regions of the world.
The first camp session, focusing on the Old World wine regions France, Italy, and Spain, will be held three consecutive Fridays, July 12, 19, and 26. The second session, looking at New World wine regions, including the US, New Zealand, Australia, and South America, will run August 2, 9, and 16. The 2-hour classes will be offered in both the afternoon and evening.
Each 3-class session is $200 and includes a camp t-shirt. Attendance at both the Old World and New World sessions is encouraged, but not required.
Registration and more information are available at whatamidrinking.com.
