Patricia Green Cellars is located in the Ribbon Ridge Appellation of the Willamette Valley on a 52-acre estate purchased in 2000 by longtime friends Patty Green and Jim Anderson. Known for focusing on vineyard designated and clonal selections of Pinot Noir, they work with the best quality sites to make wines that reflect the diverse soils and micro-climates of the Willamette.
Unfortunately, Patricia “Patty” Green, died unexpectedly, which was a jolt to the Oregon winemaking community as she was truly beloved by all. Co-owner, and winemaker, Jim Anderson has taken the reigns continuing to make wines that honor Patty's legacy and their partnership.
Fellow east coaster, Jim Anderson (from Sebascodegan Island in Maine) features an array of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir which each have a distinct identity through focusing on diverse clonal variations and soil types. Prepare to get geeky as Jim is a true pioneer of pinot!
