Local Event Premier Host
Sonoma Vs Napa Wines At Florida Wine Academy
Wed, June 19, 2019 (6:30 PM - 8:30 PM)
Cost: 85.00
The North Coast of California is considered the preeminent region for fine wine production in the United States. This AVA encompasses two of America’s darling wine counties-Napa and Sonoma. These two counties sit side by side and yet their geographical features and subtle climatic differences manifest in wines that are consistently high in quality and distinctly different. During this Lab students will taste a total of six wines from three varietals so that we can compare and contrast how the location impacts the final product. The wines poured will be:
– Napa Valley Wines:
Stag’s Leap Chardonnay
Grgich Hills Estate Fume Blanc
Rutherford Hill Cabernet Sauvignon
– Sonoma Wines:
DeLoach Russian River Chardonnay
Quivira Dry Creek Sauvignon Blanc
Sebastian Alexander Valley Cabernet
This Lab is suitable for beginner and intermediate students and wine lovers. Nicole Ramos WSET Level 3, FWS, will lead the class.
Date: June 19th, 2019 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm
