Pastry Chef Fabrice will be sharing roses with all Valentine’s guests at Le Diplomate . . .in the form of macarons. Complimentary rose macarons are among the celebrations at the 14th Street brasserie on 2/14. Also complimentary are renderings of the evening via a sketch artist wandering the dining room hand preparing sketches for guests.
Chef Greg Lloyd will be offering two special Valentine’s day plats du jour including a Dover Sole with caper brown butter ($52) and Pomme Persillade; a pan roasted veal tenderloin, mustard jus, sunchoke puree, pickled ramps ($42).
