Foul. Reeking. Smelly. Malodorous. Unpleasant. Contemptible. Noxious. Rancid. Stale. Putrescent....we've all been there. Whether in love or out of love, we've all experienced at one time or another that love stinks. Our popular community BYOB dinner for February is a tribute to stinky, smelly and sometimes unpleasant foods that we love to eat. We invite you to join us on Saturday, February 16th at 6 p.m. for a BYOB dinner event and lots of fun with strangers.

Let's start out with our cocktail SOUR LOVE REEKS. Green apple schnapps and bourbon are the liquor foundation for this cocktail that also contains honey syrup, lemon juice, and aromatic bitters. It's all reminiscent of that bad teenage love affair you've had--the sweet, the sour, the fifth of whiskey you drank to get over it and...the bitterness (and the hangover) that followed. We hope you enjoy this cocktail, which is actually quite tasty, with our miniature LIMBURGER MAC AND CHEESE BITES, which let you know that stinky cheese is really one of the best cheeses on the planet. It's creamy, salty, tasty, and most importantly, smelly.

Our next course includes a CHOPPED STINKY VEGETABLE SALAD (expect Brussels sprouts, broccoli, red cabbage, asparagus, collard greens, baby kale and red onion) with a pungent lemon and garlic vinaigrette that makes everything taste great. It's really like putting false eyelashes on a feral pig--and cheese sauce on your broccoli. It's easier on the eyes and makes what's good for you go down so much more easily. We're all eating it together, so no harm, no foul. But the star of the show is REUBEN-STYLE SHEPHERD'S PIE. Buttery, caraway-seasoned mashed potatoes top a casserole of corned beef, ground beef and sauerkraut (pretty stinky), seasoned with aromatic vegetables (read: pretty smelly), and a beer and beef broth-based gravy, all topped with gooey Swiss and white cheddar cheeses. But that's not all! You can add a Russian Dressing Topper that will put this casserole on the map for your tastebuds.

Dessert is too (two) good to be true! KITTY LITTER CAKE provides the essential "ick" factor for almost everyone's most memorably favorite smelly object. Chocolate cake topped with vanilla pudding-coated vanilla cookie crumbs and Tootsie Rolls--it all looks too painfully much like the real thing. But wait! There's more! CHOCOLATE-CARAMEL FUDGE SMILING POO, made of dulce de leche and chocolate chips, really say "Love Stinks" like no other dessert. Have one or both, but do have dessert with all the Community Coffee or hot tea you would like. And then, if the crowd demands, we will play Cards Against Humanity until we've all had enough.

This dinner is a BYOB event and seats sell out fast. Please RSVP to this email, or by calling us at 512-55 EAT 44 before Thursday, February 14th. Suggested donation is $20 per person and includes everything described above. So...does love really stink? We leave it to you to decide.

Offensively yours,
Vindaloo Tiramisu
