Gourmet Guyanese West Indian Food And Wine POP UP Experience

Get a healthy serving of Chef Narisa’s homeland cuisine with a gourmet spin. Born in Guyana and raised in New York, this POP-UP experience represents a lovely duality in cooking — West Indian culinary styles and flavors passed from generation-to-generation with a gourmet New York City touch. 

This is a sit-down dinner, served partially by “family style” and seats are limited. Wine pairings will be presented by Charles Springfield, certified sommelier. See menu below. Contact organizers with dietary restrictions. 

 

Appetizer 

“Fish cake with a Mango sour”

(Smoke trout, yuca, homemade tamarind/mango sauce)

First Course 

“Cook Up rice & Jerk chicken”

(Guyanese herb marinated chicken, "dads" pickles )

Second Course - (Family style) 

Cassareep pork belly, curry lamb, jasmine rice, dhal puri, 

Dessert 

Rice pudding, strawberry chutney
