It's a new year! Resolve to learn more about wine!
Are you a "wine novice"? Ever feel confused when tasting wine--not really sure what you're doing? Come to CalyRoad Creamery on Friday, January 18th and learn the basics of tasting wine with CalyRoad's in-house wine guru, Debbie Jones, CSW (Certified Specialist of Wine).
Tasting wine involves all five senses, not just your senses of smell and taste. Together we'll go through the steps of tasting wine and answer your questions: What is body? Why do we swirl? What are the "legs"? What does the wine's color reveal about the wine? What am I smelling and tasting?
Our "How to Taste Wine" class costs $30 and begins at 6:00 p.m. (Please note: This is a formal, sit-down class, so be sure to arrive by 6:00.) We'll taste and examine four wines, and we'll provide you with palate-cleansing munchies. By the end of the session you will have a better understanding of how to experience this most mysterious and delicious of libations, wine!
To RSVP, call CalyRoad at 678-773-0843 or email debbie@calyroadcreamery.com. Due to space constraints, our class size must be limited to 10 people, so it's first come, first served. So don't delay!
