Italy produces the most wine of any country in the world! It also produces the most different wines from approximately 1300 different grapes! Although the most famous grapes are Pinot Grigio and Sangiovese there are many which you might not have discoverd and enjoyed yet. This Saturday's tasting will start your journey into the "Italian Wine Experience!" Please join us for a tasting that will help you expand your wine knowledge and your palate!
The wines we will experience Saturday include 2016 Verso Rosso Salento from the heel of the Italian boot to 2014 Cannonau di Sardegna Riserva from the island of Sardinia, to 2016 Banfi Col di Sasso from Tuscany to 2016 Renato Ratti Barbera D'Asti from the Piedmont. We will also sample several others, including a rock star Brunello which will complete our journey from the bottom to the top of Italy!
