California Chardonnays
Wednesday, January 16th
Trapp Family Lodge Wine Cellar
Chardonnay didn’t really get started in California until the 1940s.
That seems fairly recent to me, considering how prevalent the grape is today.
Today Chardonnay is the most widely planted grape in California and the biggest selling grape varietal in the U.S. overall.
We’ll taste five Chardonnays from three California appellations.
Price is $20. Please call or see the front desk to place reservations. 802 253-5742. Doors open @ 4:00. I suggest you arrive no later than 5:00 to avoid feeling rushed. People come and go during the tasting which is an informal walk around format. We end at 6:00
