As we approach the cold stretch of Canadian winter, it is time to enjoy some old Bordeaux with rich French food.

Château de Lamarque Proprietor Pierre-Gilles Gromand invites you to an intimate wine experience showcasing a selection of his most coveted wines, paired with an outstanding French menu created by the culinary team at Le Select Bistro.

A retrospective into old vintages isn’t just a reflection of the quality of the fruit, but also the talent of the winemaker and what they were able to accomplish with what they had at their disposal. Your evening will commence with a glass of the Calvet Cremant de Bordeaux Brut, followed by a four-course wine dinner with the 2014, 2012, 1996, 1983 and 1981 Château de Lamarque, which includes a sweet ending paired with the Château Haut Mouleyre Cadillac 2015 .

Do not miss this opportunity to discover a Bordeaux Icon and purchase rare back vintages available only through the private import channel!

Château de Lamarque - Haut-Médoc Member of the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux since 1983

Château de Lamarque is located in the Haut-Médoc on the left bank of the Girondebetween Margaux and Pauillac. Marie-Hélène Gromand d’Evry undertook steps to improve vineyard practices as the quality of the harvest and care of the vines is of utmost importance. This involved monitoring and analyzing the vines from the soil through to the grapes, leaves, and vines. A detailed map of the vineyard, parcel by parcel, was produced to enable a much greater understanding of the diversity of soils and how to best look after the vines.

The vineyard is planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot but the amount of Cabernet Franc is being reduced and Cabernet Sauvignon is being increased for qualitative reasons.

19+ only.
