2019 Winter Madness House Concert Series
At this time of year, the Bernhardts invite you to shake off the "cold winter blues" with a toasty afternoon warmed by the fireplace. Enjoy award-winning wines, delicious appetizers and an incredible lineup of musical talent!
The concerts in January, February and March are inside in the warm, cozy concert room. The concert format is designed around a Sunday afternoon picnic with family and friends. The winery provides family table seating in the concert room to enhance the intimacy of the evening. Heavy appetizers and dessert are provided and are included in the ticket price. Featured wine selections are available to purchase as suggestions to pair with the evening's specially-crafted appetizers.
Appetizers & meet-and-greet with the entertainers start at 4:15pm. Concert begins at 5:00pm; ending around 7:30pm.
The Texas Blues Brothers have been entertaining crowds for over 13 years. This musical act formed in 2002 with an admiration for the 1981 movie and musical act from SNL. Steve Boado performs as brother “Jake Blues” along with Mike Vrabel stepping into the shoes of brother “Elwood Blues”.
The Texas Blues Brothers have shared the stage with Houston's Blues legends Tx. Johnny Brown, Milton Hopkins, and Trudy Lynn, They have also shared stages with The Fabulous Thunderbirds and Los Lonely Boys. The Texas Blues Brothers Tribute combine classic soul and blues along with the hits from the album Briefcase Full of Blues. The looks, the moves, the music – they have it all.
