Join us Tuesday, January 8 for our annual winter warming dinner of Cassoulet with Chef Jacques Imperato and importer Ed Addiss of Wine Traditions! What is cassoulet? It's a rich, deeply flavored, casserole of meats like garlicky sausage, duck confit, pork and more buried in creamy white beans. While found all over southern France, its most famous home is in Toulouse where the deep, round, earthenware pot with slanting sides called a "cassoulet" gave its name to the dish.
We'll e feast on a robust cassoulet meal created by Chef Jacques and four paired French wines from Ed.
