Wine To Water (W|W) is proud to announce the premiere of a 20-minute documentary highlighting its clean water projects around the world at “Beyond The Valley,” a free special event at the Culinary Institute of America at Copia in Napa on January 17, 2019. Keynote speakers will include David Cuthbert, CEO of W|W and others, to be announced.

“This inspirational film is a showcase about how people can find their purpose within their passions while serving those around them,” said Cuthbert. “We are so excited to share the personal journeys that have led some very special people around the world to serve others in numerous ways. Their efforts have a ripple effect that benefits entire communities for years to come.”

“What started humbly with a bartender offering wine tastings to collect donations to support global clean water projects has grown to help over 750,000 people in 30 countries. We are very proud to partner with wine brands that are being poured around the country to champion clean water and educate consumers about the global water crisis. I believe that clean water will be the unifying social cause for impact in our industry and we are honored to share our story to the wine community,” said Jared Seitzer, W|W’s Director of Wine.

Without a script, the film crew captured the profound impact of water in the lives of people around the world. Produced by Matt Rath and Jacob Snyder of Worthy Portrait Productions, the documentary shares the stories of W|W National Program Managers, Jhonny Anderson (Amazon), Roshani Karki (Nepal) and Radhames Carela (Dominican Republic). Witness how their service through water and their generous spirit has transformed thousands of lives in their communities.

“We all have something good to share. This is a story of necessity, purpose and overcoming internal fears. Watch as Jhonny, Roshani and Rhadames discover their personal identities as they fight for clean water in their own backyards,” said Rath, film producer.
