About Nominé-Renard:
In 1960, Germaine Renard and her husband, André Nominé, built their own winery and christened it ‘Champagne Nominé-Renard’.Nominé Renard encompasses a vineyard of 20 hectares in the village of Villevenard, located in the Côte de Sézanne. It is owned and operated by Simon Nominé, the third generation of winemakers to meticulously and passionately tend to the vines. The family was one of the original twelve in the founding of the prestigious Club Trésors and has strived to capture the essence of their terroirs and to make known the exceptional character of their wines. Nominé Renard is a house known for its exceptional elegance and freshness and has worked to ensure their passion is reflected in each cuvee.
About Bodega Piedra Negra:
After searching extensively across several regions of Argentina, François Lurton planted his vineyard at high altitude in the Uco Valley, in the foothills of the Andes Cordillera, in semi-desert conditions (the poor, gravelly soil is reminiscent of Pessac-Léognan!). This unexplored region is known as Chacayes, the name that François later gave to the property's finest wine. A pioneer of the Uco Valley, he built his winery, Bodega Piedra Negra, in the heart of 200 hectares of virgin land. Drawing on expertise acquired all over the world, he immediately introduced environmentally-friendly winegrowing methods.
