Pinot Noir Tasting
Saturday, August 11th
Trapp Family Lodge Wine Cellar
Pinot Noir, The Heartbreak Grape. So named because it promises such wonderful wines and yet has broken the hearts of so many producers who failed to live up to the grape’s promise. Winemakers say that Cabernet Sauvignon is made in the winery but Pinot Noir is made in the vineyard.
Today we’ll be featuring five Pinots from around the world: California, Chile, France, Austria and Oregon.
Come and have your heart broken.
Price is $20. Please call or see the front desk to place reservations. 802 253-5742. Doors open @ 4:00. I suggest you arrive no later than 5:00 to avoid feeling rushed. People come and go during the tasting which is an informal walk around format. We end at 6:00
