Goldschmidt is one of the great winemakers of the world with his goal of producing wines that focus on site specific winemaking from great vineyard sites from around the world. Come taste with Nick - it will be the experience of a lifetime!
Originally hailing from New Zealand, Nick Goldschmidt settled in California with his wife in 1989 and worked as a winemaker at Simi Winery, becoming chief winemaker in 1991. During his tenure, he and his wife established their own line of wines with the release of the Goldschmidt Vineyards brand focusing primarily on making world-class Cabernet Sauvignon. Their goal is to create wines that highlight the distinct characteristics from their specific vineyard sites in both Alexander Valley and Napa Valley Oakville, many of which are located adjacent to other highly regarded wineries including Opus One, Silver Oak, and Groth.
