Our cellar-style store is feeling a fresh pop of spring with new art adorning our walls. The immensely talented, Peter Ivens is our latest install at the shop. If you’re a friend of Peter’s or a new fan – you’re invited to chat with him, taste wines and enjoy some cheese with us!
Peter, a Fine Arts graduate from the U of A now resides in Calgary. A session at the Emma Lake Artists’ Workshop in 1982 encouraged him to pursue his dream of painting full time.
Words do no justice to his entrancing, textural landscape pieces. Truly something to see for yourself! He has exhibited throughout western Canada, and in addition to numerous private and corporate clients, Peter’s work is also in The Alberta Foundation for the Arts collection. We are very lucky to have his work on our walls.
With a palate is as sharp as his colour palette – we’ve selected a wonderful line up of wine to taste as you mingle, admire and nibble!
