Few names are more synonymous with Port than Graham. Spanning three centuries, Graham was one of the first Port companies to invest in its own vineyards in Portugal’s Douro Valley and is now at the cutting edge of innovation in winemaking techniques. Graham's Ports are beautifully rich and concentrated with unmistakeable quality and potential for long-term aging.
A century before the Grahams founded their iconic brand, Smith Woodhouse was established. A boutique artisan producer, Smith Woodhouse was founded in 1784 and sources most its grapes from Madalena, an area in the Rio Torto Valley, known for having the highest concentration of top quality vineyards in the Douro Valley. Smith Woodhouse Ports have outstanding length and structure, are drier than most, and age with an unmatched elegance.
On Thursday, March 15, we have the distinct pleasure of hosting Rui Ribeiro, a former winemaker and the Symington Families spokesperson on Port. Rui is joining us from Portugal and will lend his decades of experience and expertise in tasting through eight Ports spanning three decades. When it comes down to it, there's no one we'd rather lead us through this type of tasting!
The lineup is listed below and we'll have VERY SPECIAL PRICING on all of the ports that you'll taste. The price is just $30 per person. The cheese pairings will be determined closer to the date when we know what is fresh and available. We fully expect our 40 seats to be sold out in a flash, so grab a group of friends and join us for a journey through 30 years of Port!
