The Terrace Room in Oakland Celebrates Mardi Gras With a “Bayou To Da Bay” Bar Menu
The Terrace Room Restaurant & Bar in Oakland will be celebrating Mardi Gras by offering a special bar menu each Wednesday through Friday between February 16 and March 2 beginning at 5:00 p.m. On Thursdays and Fridays, guest can also enjoy live music.
The spirited “Bayou To Da Bay” specials will include Seafood Filé Gumbo/$8.00 with andouille sausage, shrimp, oysters and basmati rice; Dungeness Crab and Céleri Remoulade/$8.00 with Dungeness crab, new bay spice and chive; Shrimp Toast Po’ Boy/$12.00 with pain de mie, rock shrimp, fried oysters, lettuce and comeback sauce; “Chez G” Grilled Cheese/$8.00 with pimento cheese, pickled okra and honey roasted peanuts; Doubles/$8.00 with flatbread, channa, hot pepper sauce, pickled mango and tamarind sauce; and Beignets/$8.00 with powdered sugar and chicory crème anglaise.
On those same evenings, in the main dining room, The Terrace Room's regular a la carte menu will be served showcasing New American cuisine prepared by Chef Jack Andrews using seasonal, often locally sourced, sustainable, organic ingredients.
The Terrace Room Restaurant & Bar is located at 1800 Madison Street, at 17th Street, in Oakland, California.
