Join us on Saturday, March 24 for Burning of the Canes. It's a tradition drawn from old winemaking practices in France, where vineyards spend the winter pruning back grape vines, then burning the cut-off pieces, called canes, in big bonfires.
"Today, wineries still prune their vines, but tend to grind the canes up into a sawdust-like mulch instead. Mulching, of course, isn't nearly as romantic as a bonfire."
We'll have live music and delicious wine and food to keep you warm. (Along with the massive bonfires!) Admission is free.
