Sake is to Japan what wine is to France and scotch is to Scotland; it’s considered the country’s national drink. Without a doubt, sake has myriad faces, from the simple to the complex, from delicate to heavy. Sake is so much more than the hot, clear liquid most of us know from Japanese restaurants. We will learn about the history and importance of sake as well as how to taste and pair from an expert. We will enjoy 7 sakes along with complementary sushi.
