Local Event
Please join us for an evening of wonderful food prepared and served by the students in the Culinary Arts program at Southern Maine Community College. The five course tasting menu with be expertly paired with wine from the Barcelona region to complement the dishes.
We can accommodate parties up to 6 for seating. This event is 21+
All proceeds will benefit the students that will be going to Barcelona, Spain at the end of May for a 10 day learning experience.
The menu for the evening is as follows:
Course One
Tapas Plate with an assortment of:
Iberico or Serrano Ham, Spanish Chorizo, Manchego and Mahon Cheeses, Marcona Almonds, Spanish Olives, Figs or Dates, Catalan Bread Slices
Course Two
Gazpacho
Course Three
Esqueixada de Bacalla (shredded salt cod and tomato salad)
Course Four
Spanish Roast Pork Tenderloin & Piquillo Pepper Sauce served with Tortilla de Papa (grilled potato cake) and braised Catalan Chard
Course Five
Crema Catalana (Spanish Creme Brulee)
