The Pledge Origin Sauvignon Blanc 2022 - 90/100 James Suckling

"This shows a grassy character with notes of lemons, sliced apples and crushed rocks. Medium-bodied with a polished texture, clean acidity and a round, creamy finish. Delicious and tangy."

Mendoza Vineyards1907 Malbec 2020 - 91/100 James Suckling

"A juicy red with medium body and dark-fruit character. Lots of blackberries and plums, as well as some rubber undertones. Delicious and enjoyable. Drink now."

The Pledge 1000 Malbec 2017 - 93/100 James Suckling

Listed in the Wine Enthusiast at the release price of $65, High Elevation Malbec’s from the Uco Valley are on fire right now! Crafted by winemaker Richard Bonvin, The Pledge 1000 is sourced from five vineyards in Mendoza, the birthplace of Argentina's modern wine movement. Located at the base of the Andes, vineyards in Altamira, Gualtallary, Tupungato, La Consulta and Agrelo offer a perfect growing climate of warm days and cool nights. This phenomenon allows the grapes to achieve excellent fruit concentration, which is responsible for the wine's structure. Fine tannins, good acidity, and a judicious amount of new French oak, this is the Icon wine from one of our favorite Argentine producers. Stock up and save on this amazing high elevation Malbec at a huge discount!

"This is a very striking malbec with an intense, focused feel from the get-go. The nose has a wealth of ripe red berries and plums and the palate offers a succulent, juicy and flavorful style with good focus and concentration. Drink or hold."

And as a last minute added BONUS!!!

Meet from down under the

Global Sales Manager, a.k.a. THE Blue Eyed Boy himself - Mr. Luke Marquis

of THE Mollydooker Winery!

Check out Luke's Mollydooker Winery tasting line-up below:

Two Left Feet McLaren Vale Red 2020 - 90/100 Wine Advocate

"2020 was a warm, dry vintage, but the red wines from McLaren show brilliant vitality and freshness. In this 2020 Two Left Feet Shiraz Merlot Cabernet, the composition reads as follows: 69% Shiraz, 16% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, this time all McLaren Vale sourced. The warm season (and the extra year in bottle) works wonders for this style—it's already ballsy and dense, but with the sunshine and the bottle age, everything is coming together nicely. Best After 2022"

Blend: 69% Shiraz, 16% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon

Maitre D' Cabernet 2020

The deep blend of red and purple colors and abundant aromas introduce the depth of this Cabernet. Rich and complex in flavor, notes of cherry and blackberry transition to licorice all sorts, cigar box and mocha all the while maintaining a dimension of sweet fruit. Soft and smooth on the palate, the 2020 Maitre D’ balances flavor and structure perfectly.

The Boxer Shiraz 2020 - 92/100 Wine Spectator

"Black licorice, kirsch and Kalamata olive notes are dense and dark, but give way to plush blackberry, blueberry and Earl Grey tea accents. This harmonious version gains complexity on the finish. Drink now"

The Blue Eyed Boy Shiraz - 93/100 Wine Advocate

This 2020 Blue Eyed Boy Shiraz is a fascinating wine to me, in that it offers everything that I might find challenging in one glass (high alcohol at 16%, prominent American oak and volumes of generous, abundantly concentrated, extracted fruit), yet it does so in such a way that I end up appreciating the construction and the execution despite my stylistic preferences. It's a smart wine. On the nose, there is toasted coconut (American oak fermentation and elevage), chocolate-coated raspberries, licorice bullets, lamb roast, star anise and resinous char. In the mouth, the fruit plumes over the palate and blankets the mouth in flavor. Cushioned, pillowed and very intense, the alcohol provides warmth and density through the finish."

ALL 7 wines will be specially priced in honor of Richard and Luke's visit and please don't forget to have them sign a bottle or 2 or 6 for you!

We hope to see you there!!
