Austin Hill Country Chapter of the American Wine Society
The American Wine Society was organized in 1967 as a non-profit, educational, consumer-oriented organization for those interested in learning more about all aspects of wine, abiding to the Society’s goal, but is targeted specially to those wanting to expand their knowledge and experience in the Texas wine industry and supporting Texas agriculture, commerce, tourism and education. Founded in February 2011.

Les Amis du Vin
Les Amis du Vin is French for "the friends of wine". We can think of no more fitting name for an organization of consumers whose goal is to provide a forum for the appreciation of fine wine. Austin's "LADV" group has been in existence for 20+ years, with no goal of profit. Our continuing success comes from mirroring the unique style and tastes of Austinites. We are relatively informal, gathering to learn about and enjoy excellent wine (and often food) in the company of other wine lovers.
