Sunland Vintage Winery Tasting Room

We started Sunland Vintage Winery in early 2010, following in the footsteps of my Grandfather, and making Italian Varietals that are reminiscent of the old country. In addition to our award-winning “Giovinazzo” wines, we are now producing non-Italian “SVI” wines. Our new Tasting Room which you will find to be warm, cozy and comfortable is designed to give you a unique wine tasting experience, where we encourage interactive participation and you become part of the tradition. “Giovinazzo” Wines – a taste of old Italy right in your own backyard. And now, “SVI” brand – Premium wines for the discriminating wine palate. Our Tasting Room is open Thursdays & Fridays 6:00pm - 9:00pm, Saturdays 1:00pm - 6:00pm, Sundays 1:00pm - 5:00pm. Come in and enjoy a Tasting from our Morning Line, a Breeders Cup (glass of wine) or enjoy a bottle with friends. And you just need to call to schedule a private tasting or to book your special event. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Four Brix Winery and Tasting Lounge

Four Brix Winery – an urban winery located in the heart of Ventura – specializes in internationally-inspired wine blends. We produce wines based upon our four favorite grape growing regions: Italy, France, Spain and California. The word “Brix” is a term for measurement of sugar in grapes; therefore Four Brix equals four sweets spots for great wine! With a total production of around 1,000 cases, these wines are very limited and in high demand. It takes strength, creativity and patience to make great wine, kind of like raising children. In fact, our wine is like our children, so we gave them names: Smitten, Zeductive (Zinfandel and Petite Sirah), Temptress, Rhondezvous (Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah) and Scosso (Sangiovese, Cabernet and Merlot) are a few of our kids. Once you taste the wines, you realize how apropos the names are. When we aren’t making wine, we like to hang out with a glass of wine, listening to music and eating great food. Our favorite place to hang out is at the BrixHouse- our tasting room. But we don’t like to hang out alone, so we make sure there is always something going on at the BrixHouse.
