Sweet Dreams Winery
We were partners in Mr and Ms Christmas Tree Farm from 1998 to 2002. We went to the State Christmas Tree Growers Association every year. At the convention, they had an auction. We bid on some homemade wine and Mike loved it! It was sweet and made him feel warm all over. When we were no longer able to get this wine, Mike decided to try making some of his own. Mike got a recipe from a friend and actually turned out a very good wine the first time! Lots of people were excited about drinking it from our sprite bottles! From there on, it was experiment time on our sun porch. We bought a small stainless steel tank to make more volume of wine, and still could not keep up with the demand of our family and friends. We asked them if they would buy it if we bottled it and put a cork in it, and they said yes! We decided to get out of our partnership with the tree farm and plant a vineyard. Several years later we started our building and here we are! We are a new winery, having opened September 23, 2006. Somewhere along the way, we won a Gold Medal for our Blackberry Grape wine in an amateur International Winemaker contest.

Texas Vineyard & Smokehaus
Texas Vineyard & Smokehaus , owned and operated, by Rafael and Cheryl Hernandez is located in Palestine Texas. They had a dream that one day, they would open a winery and tasting room to serve their Texas wines. They purchased ten acres of land in Anderson County, Texas, and began working to fulfill their dream. Rafael would commute to Palestine every two weeks to clear the land and erect a building that later would house Texas Vineyard & Smokehaus. We found our calling in Anderson County. The rich agricultural land, lower taxes and friendly folks help the Hernandez's setle in the area. Palestine a sleepy town 85 miles south of Dallas, has become home for Texas Vineyard & Smokehaus.

Red Road Vineyard & Winery
Stop for a moment. Imagine you are ambling down a winding country road . . . Each turn brings nature's surprises. The cool breeze, the smell of honeysuckle, the dew in the air . . . each step a pleasurable one. Come join us! Where your wine experience will be like that of a country lane, pleasurable with every taste. Established in 2001, Red Road Vineyard and Winery (RRVW) is a family owned and operated business. We hope to hear from you soon. Our first grapes were planted in 2000 as a simple family project, but soon grew into an obsession. The first lots of grapes contained Cynthianna and Delaware varietys. In 2003, the vineyard was expanded to include Linior and Blanc Du Bois, which are fed with water from a nearby spring. Currently the vineyard altogether spans 10 acres. In the near future, we will plant more Cynthianna grapes in a 33 acre cleared area. The Grapes are harvested in the late summer, and the Muskadines in early fall. These hand picked treasures are then brought to the winery for processing.
