Kinkead Ridge Estate Winery
The mission of Kinkead Ridge is to produce ultra-premium estate-bottled wine in Southern Ohio (Ohio River Valley appellation), exclusively vinifera, with great attention and care paid to cultural practices and classic winemaking techniques. Our primary grape varieties are Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Viognier, and Riesling. Smaller quantities of Petit Verdot, Roussanne and Sauvignon Blanc fill out the mix. The owners grew Pinot Noir in Oregon for over ten years. The Kinkead vineyard was planted in 1999. Two Kinkead Ridge wines have been rated in the Top 100 Exciting Wine Finds in the world by Tom Stevenson, British editor of the New Sothebys Wine Encyclopedia. Kinkead Ridge is one of two Ohio wineries featured in Opus Vino, an internationally published wine reference book. Their wines have also been featured in 1000 Great Everyday Wines from the World's Best Wineries. Brothers Drake Mead
We craft mead from local wildflower honey, fruits and spices. Our meads range from dry to sweet and are featured in our signature cocktails. We only sell in the greater Columbus area!
