Tom DiNardo - The Wine Zealot

In 1987 Tom DiNardo began working in the California wine industry. He founded DiNardo & Lord Auctioneers in 1993. As a charity wine auctioneer, he has presided over many of the nation’s most acclaimed wine auctions. Tom is a nationally recognized sommelier, spirits & wine appraiser, wine educator, wine expert, and wine judge for many international wine competitions. Mr. DiNardo is a freelance wine writer for the Wine Enthusiast, Decanter, and Santé Magazines, and other wine journals. He was a regularly featured auctioneer for the former ERI wine auction gallery. Tom DiNardo now serves as V.P. of Outreach for the Natl. Assoc. of Professional Appraisers (NAPA), and he is also a certified insurance fraud investigator (CIFI). Tom performs wine appraisals and expert witness services for insurance companies, banks, law firms, and individuals. Tom DiNardo is perhaps best known by his Internet wine personality – The Wine Zealot. Through these unique experiences Tom has gained invaluable knowledge about wines and the wine industry. With a reverence for the grape, Tom DiNardo continues his passionate pursuit today as a wine educator who teaches others about oenology and wine collecting.

Ron Kapon- The Peripatetic Oenophile

Ron Kapon is a Professor at the International School of Hospitality Management at Fairleigh Dickinson University & has taught their wine & spirit courses for 18 years. He has established the Ron Kapon Wine Library at FDU with a donation of over 4,000 books, magazines and articles. He also teaches the wine class at Hudson County Community College Culinary Center in Jersey City. Ron Kapon is the co-author and co-producer of the FDU/NYTimes On-Line Wine Course.

Mark D Smith (New York Wine Guy) provides wine education and events as part of his "Personal Sommelier Service", with classes and tastings ranging from introduction to wine tasting, and key wine regions, to deeper dives into specific regions. Private classes are held in clients own homes, usually for up to eight people, with six wines typically tasted. Corporate wine tasting classes and events can be in offices, event spaces, realtor's open houses, art galleries, etc., with bespoke selections.
