Florence Wine Academy: wine tasting courses
If you happen to come to Florence for a few days after visiting the major tourist attractions such as Accademia, the Uffizi Gallery or the "Duomo" I recommend you take 2 hours to attend a wine tasting class. Florence stands at the center of Tuscany which is famous for its great red wines such as Chianti Classico DOCG, Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG and Brunello di Montalcino DOCG. The best way to know all of these wines is to join a wine tasting lesson, there are some wine places that offer this service at an affordable price to most. One where I found it very well is Florence Wine Academy. The wine tasting class offered here is a good place to start learning the differences between wines, but Also to learn more about wine if you've had already previous experience.
