L.A. Express is narrow room with European posters and walls that are bright blue and salmon colored. The menu is a mix of Middle-Eastern influences (hommous, chicken lemon rice soup) and Italian (chicken Marsala, pasta aioli, tiramisu), and also features more American-minded shrimp burgers, California pizza (roasted garlic and goat cheese) and lots of portobellos. Enter through the back parking lot--the front door's closed. Not really romantic, or good for kids. Good for Groups.
