Wine Master

I am interested in startng a wine processing club in NYC and need help in locating an experienced wine master to oversee the process. Any suggestions on how to go about recruiting a wine master?

Answer From Expert Roger C. Bohmrich, MW

I need to understand, first, what you mean by a "wine processing club." Would this be a production facility - a small winery of some sort - where members make their own wine from purchased grapes? If this is the case, I would assume that the "wine master" you would like to recruit is a cellar master or winemaker and not a Master of Wine. If this is accurate, your best option might be to post the position on winejobs.com. You could also place a small banner ad on the website of Wines & Vines (winesandvines.com), or Practical Vineyard & Winery (practicalwinery.com), both of which attract an audience of wine trade professionals. (We have over 15,000 industry professionals who use LocalWineEvents.com. A large number are Wineries. There are advertising options here, http://www.localwineevents.com/advertise/)
