Véronique LEMOINE Cognac tasting School
Agronomist and economist, graduated from the Montpellier “Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Agronomie”, passed the Wine Tasting Diploma from Bordeaux Enology Universit y . From 2001 to 2004, teacher and coordinator of the Ecole du Bordeaux Wine Tasting School, she has been in charge of the promotion of Bordeaux Saveurs, , dedicated to the Bordeaux way of living, exquisite food and great wines. In 2004, she moved to Cognac and discovered a new world of sensations. She passed in 2005 and 2006 the different professional ORECO Diplomas in “Assessement of quality of cognac spirits” In June 2006, she founded the " Ecole des Cognacs" -Cognac Tasting School- the first tasting school in France dedicated to these delicate and complex brandies. The Ecole des Cognacs gives courses for professionals, and offers conferences, tastings and aromatic visits for the “amateurs”. She has written articles on Cognacs for different magazines : Whisky Magazine(!), Le Figaro and Revue du Vin de France. She has written a book on the aromas of Cognacs, published in April 2009 in French by the Editions Feret.

Grappolo Blu ♣♣♣ Charlie Arturaola Wine Educator The distinguished sommelier Charlie Arturaola is a household name in culinary and oenological circles, and considered one of the nation’s “top 10 palates” by American Sommelier Association. The charismatic wine expert approaches his life’s passion with knowledge and enthusiasm, and is in demand at food and wine events nationwide. He has been a featured sommelier and educator at many of the country’s greatest wine festivals, including Aspen, Naples (as a founding sommelier), Napa, and Jackson Hole, and is on the tasting team for the Wine Spectator’s Wine Experiences, most recently in San Francisco, New York and Chicago.
