Harmen is a Sommelier recognized by the Court of Master Sommeliers. If he’s not reading about wine or playing with his 2 year old daughter; you can find him conducting a tasting and mingling with members at Imperial Golf Club where he serves as their Dining Room Manager and in-house Sommelier. Raised in Europe, he has enjoyed working in the wine, culinary and restaurant business for over twenty years, from cheese cellars to Five Diamond Resorts. While his knowledge of wine has been noted as “vast and impressive”, his down to earth approach, enthusiasm and passion for sharing good food and great wine is contagious, interesting and fun! He is available to conduct private wine tastings, “bottle shock dinners”, private collection consultation, and educational programs for staff and guests at clubs, restaurants and resorts.
