The Wine Tutor

Noted wine educator Len Gulino will provide a fun and informative event for you and your guests. His 25 years of wine tasting, learning, and travels are complemented by humor and presentation skills from his career as a corporate manager. Wine presentations are a fast-growing theme at many social, family, and business events. Len�s experience includes the wines of many countries, grape types, vintages, and wine styles, so your theme will be quite well presented. These events range from 6 to 60 people, last for about 45 to 90 minutes, and are priced up to you. Taste fewer wines at lower cost, more wines at higher cost, or anything in between. Just add some snacks, a buffet, or a full dinner and your guests will have a terrific evening whether they are beginner, intermediate, or expert wine tasters. Also included are professional, high-quality handouts about that night�s theme and each wine. My motto is… There are no absolutes in the world of wine; CELEBRATE the DIFFERENCES I have been working in the wine trade in one function or another for 15+ years, and I am a Certified Specialist in Wine. I have been a wine steward in fine dining, a buyer for a major retail store, and a wholesale representative for the top portfolio in the United States. I am also a Certified Specialist in Wine by the American Society of Wine Educators. Aside from selling wine, much of my time is spent conducting education seminars, tasting classes and wine dinners for a variety of people. I have travelled to many wine producing regions around the world, I work with as many winemakers and winery personnel as my schedule permits, and I am continuously educating myself on the subject of wine. I try to ensure that the scope of my study really encompasses all areas of the wine world: new products, consumer preferences and current trends, traditional viticultural and production methods, service techniques, wine & food pairing, etc. My experience in dealing directly with the public as well as industry personnel gives me a unique insight into the why’s and how’s of all facets of the wine industry.
