Doug is deeply involved in the educational work of both the Master Sommelier and Master of Wine programs. He is the author of Far From Ordinary, the Spanish Wine Buying Guide (3rd edition is now on the web), and two other celebrated wine books. He chooses wines and spirits for United Airlines, is a Contributing Editor to LePan Wine Magazine and a consultant to many hotels, restaurants, retailers, importers and distributors. He is a founding partner of B.A.R. (beveragealcoholresource).
