Mumbai again shows the love for wines at Bandra Wine Tasting Festival

12th and 13th were two sunny days with lovely spell of early winter coolness at the set of evenings.Bandra Wine Tasting Festival on their 3rd consecutive and successful year had again a glittering,joyous gathering of about a dozen wine producers offering their best to the eager crowd of young and old wine lovers.Gentlemen in their casuals,ladies and young members in their weekend spree loitered around the D'Monte Park,Bandra(W),Mumbai.Colorful stalls presenting their wines for tasting with talks and explanations on their exclusive treatments to vineyards,choice of the soil,aging and their warm invitations to visit their vineyards impressed the wine loving crowds.
Organizers,Pune Gourmet Club,in their 7th year of running the mission,to let Indian wine drinkers be well known to Indian wine makers saw to it that the audience was treated an easy and comfortable time to enjoy and choose their wines in leisure and with total weekend pleasure.
Each participating wine producer kept the Saturday's all hours, mid day to late in the evening around about 10pm engaged with pouring in visitors.
Many picked up their choice at a discount,specially meant for the event days.Many made their choice for buying soon from their favorite wine shops.
Vallone,Reveilo,Four Seasons,Moksh,Good Earth Winery,Vinsura,Zampa,Pause were amongst the busiest amongst the stalls,on Saturday.
The new entrant Fratelli wines,made a good entry with their maiden presence at the festival.A promising group with comittments to offer quality and class is in the offing.Already a prize winner from London,Fratelli looks forward to winning many hearts in the coming season.(More report in few hours.)
