Which white or red wine was the American wine experts’ favorite one?The answer also surprised us!This year the Hungarian Wine Roadshow 2015 presented one of the oldest wine culture to hundreds of wine lovers in 8 stations. Hungary in the heart of Europe could give a very special gift to the wine lovers thanks to its excellent and varied lands and climate.During the Roadshow, participants could taste Hungarian wines that can be found nowhere else in America. From the white wines 4(Lovassy Tokaj Furmint, Lovassy Tokaj Muskotály, Günzer Villányi Mont Blanc and Lajvér Avantgarde Szekszárdi cuvee Blanc) and from the red wines 6 (Mészáros Szekszárd KékfrankosMészáros Szekszárd Merlot, and Lajvér AvantgardeSzekszárdi Bikavér , and Lajvér Avantgarde Szekszárdi Cabernet Savignon , Lajvér Avantgarde Szekszárdi Cuvée and Günzer Villányi Cabernet Franc) different wine types could be founded at the wine selections. During the wine tastings, we could get to know some interesting facts about the Hungarian Wines, such as there were wine cultivation in the Roman times as well in Hungary. Despite the small size, Hungary has very diverse lands, it has 22 wine regions, and from that, the Road Show team brought 3 different ones. (Szekszárd, Tokaj and Villány)Everybody could rate to their favorite one at the bars from the presented wines. The American wine lovers considered the Tokaj semi-sweet wines as the second best wine (Tokaj Furmint and Tokaj Muskotály) But which one was the most popular one? It was the Lajvér Avantgard Cuvée Blanc.This coupage of Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc and Cserszegi spicy wine is a light, easy to consume and reducing technology production. It is light and fresh and true to their creators, the fragrance of the wine is caressingly spicy.When a wine expert talking about the Hungarian wines, he thinks about the dry red wines, but the favorite of the American wine lovers was the dry white one.If you would like to found out if you prefer red wines or white wines, than it is time to you to obtain some bottle and taste them!
