Taste of Tamales is an annual food festival in Los Angeles. We bring you a variety of tamales prepared by local food vendors and restaurants.
Not tamale-savvy? It's a traditional dish from Mexico, Central America and South America, made of masa (a starchy dough, usually corn-based), which is steamed or boiled in a leaf wrapper.
Tamales can be filled with meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, chilies or any preparation according to taste. The wrapping is discarded before eating.
Our tamale-themed festival also includes live music… arts and crafts… exhibitors… carnival rides and more.
Taste of Tamales is held every winter. For more information, please click the link below to visit our website.
