The Estes Park Winter Festival presents two days of chili, wine & beer tasting, live music, ice rink and an interactive Candy Land Ice Castle!
Join us in the heated pavilion for:
• Wine tastings from Colorado wineries.
• Beer tastings from local microbreweries.
• A Chili Cook-Off with local cooks and restaurants.
• Local merchants displaying and selling their art, photographs, jewelry and so much more!
• Top it off with live music, featuring Coyote Grace and some of the area's best bands; and you've got a great way to keep warm while enjoying winter in beautiful Estes Park, Colorado!
Cool-off outside with:
Ice CandyLand Castle & ice sculptures, ice rink, pony rides, petting zoo, horse & carriage rides,interactive games and so much more!
Saturday’s event features restaurants competing to determine who has the "Best of the Fest".
Sunday’s event features a C.A.S.I. sanctioned Chili Cook-Off sponsored by the Colorado Chili Pod featuring amateur cooks from Estes Park and across Colorado.
Jess Parrish with Cool Hand Ice is creating an Interactive Candy Land Ice Castle for Saturday and Sunday. While children explore the ice maze, zoom down the snow slide and enjoy a sno-cone from the ice luge; adults can watch Jess Parrish and his crew create intricate ice carvings. The castle also includes a money cube, ice ring toss and other interactive snow & ice games, including an ice rink.
The festival is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the cost is $5 per person, which includes fairgrounds entry and chili tasting. There is no charge for children under three. Wine and Beer tasting is an additional $20 and includes a commemorative glass. Pony and horse carriage rides are an additional $5 per person. Ice skating is $1 per skate.
