Richard Stetler is of French and American heritage. He began drinking wine with his family at an early age. Richard`s parents owned a restaurant and his aunt was a chef in France. This family influence led him into the restaurant industry. Prior to opening The Best Cellar, Richard worked in some of Broward County's better known fine restaurants. Richard's wine store is different from most other wine stores you visit. First, it is really a wine boutique, a small shop which concentrates on quality wines, primarily from small estate vineyards. Second, he hosts weekly, sit down wine tastings, where his customers can meet other people who enjoy wine. These wine tastings offer the opportunity to taste a wide variety of wines, learn more about the wines, the wineries and the growing regions and share views on the wines tasted in a casual, friendly and comfortable environment. Come join our guests from Miami, Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach and throughout South Florida who regularly attend our weekly wine tastings.
