Valentine’s Day is filled with excitement and anxiety. The holiday is riddled with expectations, traditions, trappings and the desire to make it a perfect day. Planning and making it happen can be a lot of work and stress. Why not start your Valentine ’s Day celebration with something original and different? You can eat at a fancy restaurant. You can do the traditional flowers and candy. Or, do something truly different! Add a Love Lock to the Fence Stile Love Lock wall!
The Love Lock wall is inspired by an ancient custom. Lovers lock a padlock on a gate or fence and throw away the key, symbolically locking their love forever. Adding a Love Lock to the Fence Stile wall is a great way to start your Valentine’s Day celebration. Bring your own lock or pick up a double heart, keyless lock at the winery. Engrave your Love Lock while you enjoy one of the many offerings.
Winery and Wine Cave Tour with Candle-lit Wine Tasting ($35/person, RSVP 816-500-6465 or events@fencestile.com). 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm, Friday, Feb. 14; 12 pm, Saturday, Feb. 15, and 12 pm, Sunday, Feb. 16.

Truffle Flight: Flight of three wines and three chocolate truffles - $18/person
Port-style Wine Flight: Flight of three port-style wines, three cheeses, and three chocolate truffles - $42/person
Glass of ‘16 Viagem paired with trio of chocolate-covered strawberries - $18/person
Sharable small plate with chocolate-covered strawberries, a trio of cheeses and crackers. - $25/plate
House-made blackberry sparkling wine cocktail
We will also release the 2014 Deliciar (Vidal Blanc white port-style wine) and the 2016 Viagem (Chamborurcin port-style) dessert wines.
Paw-lentine's Weekend
Feb. 15-16, 11 am-5pm
Celebrate Valentine's weekend with your four-legged pal. Fence Stile will have a complimentary dog biscuit (one per dog, while supplies last) with the purchase of a chocolate truffle and a glass of wine by a human for Valentine's weekend. Bring your fur baby to relax in the Tasting Room or romp outdoors, doggone it.
